There are all kinds of silly things on the Web about Tuxedo cats, how one supposedly climbed Mt Everest, etc. Obviously joke “information.”

But this is ROO, the latest addition to our cat family, as of last October, who we found wandering in a junk yard out in the middle of nowhere, 200 miles away. And he is NOT an ordinary cat. He reminds me a lot of my Johnny-Cat, also a Tux, skinny, wiry body and strange, flat, short fur, more like a dog’s coat than a cat’s fluff--and so SMART, it is downright scary. We hired a cat behaviorist to help deal with some of his “issues” and she said we had a “Border Collie in a Cat Suit” he was so bright! He is proving to be a challenge, even for me to write about, but a story about him and the mysterious Tuxedo cats is soon to come.
